ChinaFish, HL Asia - Triangle

China fish: Today has closed below the 50ma(green line), this is a significant support line for short/mid-term trading. Once broken, it could possibly go lower. Traders will wait another day for confirmation.

HL Asia, this stock seems to be struggling along the 200ma, the most significant support line. However, I have observed a few "Fakeouts" in the past months. Fakeouts are basically fake breakouts, price break through resistance/support. There are substantial accumulations when the stock breaks below the 200ma, hence pushing the price back above 200ma. Will this time be downside fakeout again?
Another view from the chart, it is forming a ascending triangle pattern, once it break the resistance(horizontal line) we shall see a good uptrend breakout!

How to jump the queue (after 5pm)

First REIT triggered today at $0.91 and have been hovering around the 0.905-0.91 the whole day. Seller queuing to sell at 0.91 and buyer waiting to buy at 0.905. At 4+pm, I wanted to buy this stock, there is only 2 choice, either I buy at a higher price 0.91 or I queue up obediently on 0.905.
Since the price is only hovering between the 2 price, I believe it is not possible to break 0.91 in the last min. Decided to grab it during share matching time (5.00-5.05pm). Reason being, the share will either close 0.91 or 0.905 depend on which ever side is more desperate(seller or buyer). So what I do is 1) wait till 5.04pm to key in order, 2)key in at a higher price.

As a result, when poems matches the share, and decided the closing price to be 0.905(more desperate seller). I will hence be the first few to buy as I have key in the higher price. What ever orders came in after 5pm will be executed on this agreed price, those who queue at 0.905 will have to queue behind me.

Do note that:
1) It might close at the higher price, due to supply and demand. (calculate from market dept)
2) Your order might not be done
if you submit too late.
3) preferably to do on 5.04pm(make sure ur
clock is working well)
4) etc.... its a trail and error thing..

First Reit

Asia's Premier Healthcare Trust

First REIT is Singapore's first healthcare real estate investment trust (REIT) that aims to invest in a diversified portfolio of income-producing real estate and/or real estate-related assets in Asia that are primarily used for healthcare and/or healthcare-related purposes.

First REIT aims to deliver regular and stable distributions and achieve long-term growth in the net asset value per Unit through growth in rental yields and acquisitions.

This dividend darling today moves higher to $0.905 breaking the resistant of previous high. Seeing there is a CD(cum Dividend) on poems then it reminds me it is due for dividend again. Dividend yield as of today on bloomberg is 8.442% (comparing the past dividend given divide by today's closing price). P.s: I have been holding this stock for quite some time.. for long term investing =)

Broadway, Fraser REIT, Straits Asia

Broadway, a stock I have been monitoring for quite some time. I has a constant uptrend since march 2009 (lowest pt: $0.13). Rises almost 10 fold! Today it gave a buy signal on CSI, trigger buy if tommorow breaks above today's high. Remember, cut lost should be place 2-3bids below recent low.

Fraser Centrepoint Reit, I always tell friends around me to buy some reit for long term investing because they gives generous dividends (5.6% for this Fraser reit). Today there is buy signal for Fraser CTP Reit on CSI. May can consider to buy some.

Straits Asia, after a prolonged downtrend, it finally gives a blue bar signal. In CSI system, blue bar gives an early buy signal then the green arrow. The last time I follow this method to buy genting, now is already 30% gain, still holding =). Well gotta work night shift tonight, hence tomorrow won't be monitoring during the day, I will think through the night to decide whether to buy or not.

Asiafood & Midas

Today I did a swing trade scan using metastock explorer on all the singapore stock, afew stock came out, AsiaFood was the best among the rest. As for short term, it is trading between the uptrend channel. It was in the oversold position since last wednesday, on friday it fulfilled the second criteria by entering the 20, 40 zone. The swing trade setup will consider trigger if it hit 0.575 tommorrow(above the previous day high)

Midas, a stock that has been in my watchlist for quite some time seems to have a little action lately.Should have bought it earlier when signal 2weeks ago where the color of the candlestick change orange to blue, but now is still not too late, the price is still within that region. On friday it broke the downtrend resistance line, signify that the stock maybe ending its downtrend soon.

Yanlord, Hyflux, Cosco Corp

As spoken earlier, Yanlord broke the downtrend channel, it continues to move higher hence now I draw another small uptrend channel to see the support and resistance. Green arrow signal came today, telling us to add position ($1.94) if tommorow hit above today's high $1.93. Short term resistance will be around $2.10

Hyflux: As we can see the stock is forming lower low and lower high one after another, it is a sign of downtrending. Yesterday it breaks the resistance at $3.10, today confirms the downtrend breakout by writing off to $3.05. This would be a good counter to short if you are having bearish feeling about the market, plenty of room to move lower . Stop loss at $3.19.

Today Cosco corp also triggered buy on swing trade strategy, as CCI pullback from its oversold (-100) position. Possible to trade higher for the next 2-3days.

Yanlord broken the downtrend channel..

A downtrend is consider ending when 1) the price fail to make lower low, 2) start making higher high. Drawn Fibonacci on Yanlord's chart, it retrace to the 61.8% level and fail to make a lower low . CSI system gave 2 buy signal few days ago. A possible trend reversal.

Dividend play

Dividends may be in the form of cash, stock or property. Most secure and stable companies offer dividends to their stockholders. Their share prices might not move much but the dividend attempts to make up for this.

High-growth companies rarely offer dividends because all of their profits are reinvested to help sustain higher-than-average growth.

Risk adverse investor should scout for high dividend payout stocks and BUY them when stock market corrects heavily. Stocks paying significant dividends have less downside risk than other stocks as long as their dividend isn't threatened. Of course, the biggest advantage of buying these dividend stocks is that you get paid just to hold them. Stocks with solid dividend prospects don't go down as much as other stocks, because when they start falling, the resulting rise in dividend yield attracts more value buyers from fund managers and sharp investors. Dividend yield is the estimated dividend payouts over the next 12 months divided by the price you pay for the shares.

Dividends are normally quoted in terms of dollar amount of each shares. For example, if a company share price is $100 and a dividend of $6 per share is paid, the result is a 6% dividend yield. If the share price drop to $80 and dividends remains at $6, the result is a 7.5% dividend yield.

Yangzijiang continue to move higher!

Symmetrical triangles for the most part, showing an aimless in direction. The market seems listless in its direction. The supply and demand therefore seem to be one and the same. The upper line(downward sloping) symbolize the resistance and the lower line (upward sloping) is the support. A parallel line drawn above the support is the shorter term resistance. In this case a break above the resistance means there is more upside to be seen.

On Friday Yangzijiang continue to move higher after breaking out of the symmetrical triangle, ended at the highest point of $1.44 forming the second Big white candle. This generally consider bullish, as price closed significantly higher than they opened. If the candle appears during breakout above a resistance area the long white candle adds credibility to the breakout.

Bought some using CSI system at $1.34 three weeks ago, when it gave the orange to blue bar signal. The major trend of this stock is sloping upwards, hence we believe that there will be higher success rate of this stock going higher. Added position at $1.39, will be selling half for short term profit, targeting 1.49. Keep the rest till CSI give sell signal.
