Luxchem - Net profit more than Doubled. Uptrend Stock

Luxchem Corp Bhd's net profit more than doubled to RM14.82 million or 5.64 sen per share in the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 (4QFY15), compared to RM6.29 million or 2.42 sen per share a year earlier.
The better earnings were underpinned by higher contribution from the trading and manufacturing segment and the reversal of RM4.29 million in employee benefit expense during the quarter, it told Bursa Malaysia today.
Revenue for the quarter was also higher at RM183.27 million, up 24.57% from RM147.12 million in 4QFY14. Luxchem is proposing a single tier final dividend of 4.5 sen per share for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2015, subject to the shareholders' approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting.
Construction piling specialist Pintaras Jaya Bhd's net profit slumped 83.3% to RM2.53 million in the second quarter ended Dec 31, 2015 (2QFY16), from RM15.17 million a year ago due to the low rate of project replenishment and cost overruns in the construction business.
The company told Bursa Malaysia today its revenue slid 57.9% to RM31.22 million from RM74.11 million in 2QFY15.
"The decline was attributable mainly to the lower contribution from both the construction and manufacturing divisions coupled with a lower investment income," it said.

It said on Friday the RM4 target price is based on 14 times CY17 price-to-earnings (P/E), a 10% premium over the sector P/E.

“Potential rerating catalysts include higher RF content growth per smartphone and sustainable margin growth at Amertron. Inari remains our sector top pick due to its strong three-year EPS CAGR of 21%,” it said.

Strong Stock in Singapore & Malaysia now!

Some friend is asking right now what is good to buy in Singapore, i say now it is difficult to find a stock that is going upwards, the whole market is down. If really want to find a potential stock, i would look at those stock that did not really drop over the past few month.

From the above list, it show the strong stock in Singapore, SATS and Cordlife are really the odd one that remain strong in current market
\
Across the causeway, we see many more strong stock in malaysia market, this is telling us the soil is more fertile over there. Good to find growth stock, I am glad we have moved our position to malaysia counter last year, which many people did not believe.

How to Short KLCI using CFD

Will KLCI Drop like the rest of the world? Do you know China drop 12% in the first week of 2016? KLCI drop from 1866 to 1500 in 2015(that was near 20%). Many people ask how can they short KLCI index, what I am using is CFD, reason being it is a leverage product, I dont have to buy 1:1 like shares.

How much you need for 1 contract of KLCI CFD?
Each contract only requires 5% margin (e.g like a deposit or down payment), which means if KLCI is now 1650, one contract will worth RM16500, but you only need 5% of that to own 1 contract which is RM825

How it works is each point up or down is reflected in the Name of the CFD contract
FBM KLCI MYR10 - this means each point is 10 Ringgit. If you long 1 contract and it goes up 20point, you make RM200, if down 20point you lose RM200
commission for KLCI cfd is RM5 per side/lot. Interest is 4% per year(usually you dont hold very long for index, so you can calculate this by per day basis)

More other CFD product details can refer to the link below.
Phillip CFD Products List (S'pore, M'sia, US, HK, China, World Indices, ETFs)

Expiry date?
For CFD all profit and losses are instant, if you make a profit, the money will credit into you available cash, if you lose it will deduct from your available cash. You can open a contract as long as possible and provided you have enough Available cash in your CFD account. Unlike futures, this does not have an expiry date that you have to close off the position.

Margin Call
In the Event your Available cash falls below ZERO, that will be the margin call, you can either choose to top up the account or you can close the position.
